Risa license key not recognized when starting RisaFoundation or RisaConnection

I have a perpetual license key to run Risa3D (v15) RisaFoundation (v9) and RisaConnection v(6) (not current versions as you may note). I have no problem to start Risa3D, but when I try to open directly the other two programs (foundation and connection) I got the message that no sentinel key was found. I manage to access those programs via the 'director' link within Risa3D (the key is recognized if done it that way), but it is necesary to create or load a model and solve it in order to be able to link the other program. If you there have a suggestion on how to correct that issue I would appreciate it. (I am using those 64bit programs in a Windows 10 laptop)

TestComplete uses the Sentinel LDK License Manager service to activate licenses and to manage and verify license information. If the service is not running, TestComplete cannot check it and therefore cannot start, or, if the license has not been activated yet, it cannot complete the activation. The service is started automatically after TestComplete is installed and automatically starts every time the operating system loads. You receive this error message because the service is stopped or is not running properly.

To ensure that the Sentinel LDK License Manager service is running:

  1. Open the Windows Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services applet.

  2. Select the Sentinel LDK License Manager service in the list.

  3. Right-click the service and select Start or Restart from the context menu.

Once the service is running, click Try Again to close the message box.

If the service does not start or if it is not in the list, do one of the following:

  • Reinstall the HASP drivers that are used to manage and verify license information.

    3. Extract all files from the downloaded archive.

    4. Launch the Windows command prompt with administrator permissions and type the path to the haspdinst.exe (or hasplms.exe) file that is located in the previously unpacked folder.

    5. Specify -r -kp as parameters and execute the command to remove the HASP drivers.

    6. To install the HASP drivers, rerun the previous command with the -i argument instead of -r-kp.

  • Reinstall TestComplete.
